Art Show Booths Available for Saratoga Home & Lifestyle Show

Posted on Oct 18, 2016 in News Releases

Space is still available for artists and artisans wishing to participate in the art show portion of the Saratoga Home & Lifestyle Show at the Saratoga Springs City Center, Friday, March 3 through Sunday, March 5. The art show will feature painters, photographers, sculptors, glassblowers, woodworkers,  jewelers and more.

The Saratoga Springs Rotary Club has reserved the entire second floor of the City Center for its 2017 art show. More than 5,000 square feet will be devoted to artists and art-related vendors. Original works of art are encouraged. All sales are the responsibility of the artist or vendor; Saratoga Springs Rotary Club requires no commissions. Rotary will also allocate limited space for wine and spirits vendors.

Each year thousands of people attend the Saratoga Home & Lifestyle Show, and that means great exposure for exhibiting artists and artisans. Prizes and giveaways will ensure a steady flow of traffic throughout the 28 art show booths.

Available booth sizes are 10 x 7, 10 x 8 and 10 X 10 feet. The booth fee covers all three days of the show and ranges from $170 to $215 if paid by January 2. (Artists may team up to share a single booth, but the booth must be registered under one name.) The artist, vendor or a representative must be present at the booth throughout the show. To learn more, e-mail, leave a message at (518) 932-1367 or visit

On the first floor, the Home & Lifestyle Show will host more than 100 vendors for home improvement, outdoor living and landscaping, family recreation and other lifestyle products and services. These booths go on sale in December. Interested vendors may email to add their names to the notification list.

The proceeds of all booth rentals help the Saratoga Springs Rotary Club continue its financial support of community organizations, youth scholarships and humanitarian aid.

Show Funds Rotary’s Donations to Community, Scholarships, and Global Aid

The Rotary Club expects to raise close to $100,000 from the event, with proceeds being distributed to community organizations, youth scholarships, and international humanitarian projects. Since the original show was held in 1973 at the Saratoga Armory, the Show has made possible the significant financial gifts of the Rotary Club, as well as strengthening the community spirit of Saratoga.

In addition to an annual Major Gift to a local non-profit organization, the Club makes smaller donations each year to a wide range of local organizations focused on youth recreation and education, provision of services and food to those in need, historical sites, and cultural activities.

As part of the Club’s continued dedication to helping local students pursue higher education, it now provides $50,000 annually in scholarships to high school seniors. This work is done in conjunction with the Saratoga Springs Rotary Education Foundation, which raises funds for scholarship purposes.

The Saratoga Springs Rotary Club also assists from time to time with disaster relief efforts, reflecting its belief of being involved global citizens. It also supports the efforts of Rotary International, and in particular Rotary’s effort to eradicate polio.
